My boy cat, Kiggles, started losing weight about a month ago. For the last five days he has been throwing up; sometimes all his food, sometimes just frothy looking liquid. The last two days he has been throwing up much less. The whole time he has been eating just fine, but a month ago he was bigger and stronger than his sister, Jippity, maybe even a little fat. Now he is skinnier than her and appears slow and very sleepy. He craves salt like crazy. I am afraid he has some kind of heart problem because of this. I am taking him to the vet this Thursday (in three days) but wonder if he needs to go sooner.   His ears and gums are fine, I have not seen him use the litter box but he seems to be doing that fine. He is just sleeping A LOT. His eyes sometimes look a little funny but he has a blocked duct on his left eye that he's had since I got him at seven months old (he is 2 yrs now). Three different vets told me not to worry about his 'leaky eye'. Is this very serious sounding?
