4 days ago I was bitten by my cat. On the 3rd day I went to the ER and had IV antibiotics and got an Rx for augmentin 500mg to take 2 times a day for 7 days. Today my hand where I was bitten(very tiny bite, but big infection) is slightly pink but fingers and knuckles are still swollen and I cant make a full fist. My cat, current rabies shot and my tetanus is current. How long should I expect before complete healing. I am also soaking my hand in hot water as much as possible.
