It sounds like it is a fatty cyst. The only way to tell if it is one is it should feel like it's in the skin or on the skin, not under the skin. It shouldn't be hard. A fatty cyst is VERY common and is no harm at all.. I have a dog with about 17 of them on her right now!

This bubble is not hard. It actually feels like an air bubble. The lump is on top of her skin and it moves freely. When I went to feel this lump itt felt like there was air inside. This probablly sounds weird but that is the best way i can put it. But definitly the lump is not hard.
