my cat is insulin dependent diabetic. in the past few months she started having diarhea regulary (4-6 times week) from the blood work the vet said that she is not in liver or kidney failure. although there are some elevations. he put her on carafate and her condition improved. she went from 11.2 pounds to 8.5 over the past few months. she is about 15. is there something more i need to do and is this safe long term.

Dear friend,

Is your cat eating a special diet - if so - what?

does she get insulin twice a day?

Have her teeth, liver annd kidneys been checked?

Thanks,

Terri
