my cats ear has been irritating him so i thought that it might be ear mites, so i gave him the treatment that you can pick up at your local target or walmart, applied it twice and he has been tearing at his ear with his claws and has now scratched himself to the point where he has drawn blood that has given himself a wound. what should i do? for a person that is not in a postion that i can spend three hundred on a vet visit.
