Our housecat Neko is about 4 years old. Since he's been about 2 years old, on occasion he will limp on one of his hind legs. He'll avoid jumping and will yelp if you pick him up the wrong way. We think what happened, is that maybe our blind yellow lab stepped on him (he doesn't move out of her way). Is this something that needs to be x-rayed or will it heal on it's own? We were thinking it would heal on it's own but now it's been 2 years and seems to be more frequent. I was also thinking of putting him on a natural joint supplement of some sort to help with pain, then maybe he wouldn't baby it and it would heal properly? What do you think? I guess I'm questioning what taking him to the vet would do? I'm worried about his leg having to be broken to correct it... :(

thanks!
