My cat, Toby, has been shedding tufts of tail fur for the last couple of days. Upon inspecting his tail, I noticed very tiny red spots. I think they may be from where his fur came out, but maybe not. I don't know. Also, my other cat, Nicki, shows no problems. Toby eats normally, uses the bathroom normally, and drinks normally. He doesn't go outdoors, and I have no knowledge of other pets in my building. I'm quite sure he doesn't have fleas, and I keep the place vacuumed well. We don't have roaches. We don't have ticks in here. Could he have allergies that may cause this? could this be something more serious?
