My dog has heartworm and complications due to it. We gave her the treatment last week, and yesterday we found out she had a fever and a infection. What can I do to help her at home besides giving her antibiotics? She doesn't want to eat...how can I help with the fever?
As a consequense she is also taking blood presure medication for her heart, steroids to keep down the swelling, and antibiotics for the infections of her heart and lungs.
