I have two cats both from the same litter on is male and 25# and the other is female 8#. Before my boyfriend and I became "a couple" he was my best friend and spent a couple days a week visiting for a few hours. During this time he antagonized the cats he always says he's "a dog person" and he likes being rough with them. Well, now since we have become "a couple" he is here a lot and the cats fear him. My female will send off a growl that is quiet and changes tone. He feels real bad now. The female also cowered under my bed and licked herself so much that she looked liked she laid in a puddle and she was missing quarter size of fur. How can I make them more comfortable around him?. He will pet her but she will growl and freeze. The male runs away like a sissy and later will come down and get my boyfriend to pet him.
