i have three cats. Instead of using the litter box in the morning, I find little formed stools over the house. I have changed the litter and this seemed to help for a few days. She only does it in the morning when she is running around and playing with the other cat. She has no trouble urinating in the litter box.

How many litter boxes do you have? I also have three cats, and we have two litter boxes. I have found that if we do not keep the boxes clean, the cats will not use it.

Maybe you should add another litter box, and make sure both boxes get scooped at least daily.
