My cat is 3 years old and has major swelling in his right ...

My cat is 3 years old and has major swelling in his right nasal passage. Vet said he did not see a foxtail, possibly cancer. He did not offer to do a biopsy. What is the probability of a pain free life if it is a tumor. What are the best procedures or treatment routes to take?

Did the vet pinpoint the cause of the swelling? Or tell you anything other than the fact that it was not a foxtail? Any chance it could be a bug bite?
