my cat is lethargic and not eating after having a rabies shot. what should I do

Call your vet - this might be a shot reaction where the cat is bothered by some component of the suspension medium the vaccine is given in.
See if your vet wants the cat in for an antihistamine or other med to help the cat get over this.
You might not have to take the cat in to get meds to help it but you for sure want it noted on the cat's record that it is having a negative response to being vaccinated.
