Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy),
Can she walk on these legs normally?
How do you know that she has lost feeling in them?
For how long has she been this way?
When she circles, is it always in the same direction?

THIS STARTED LAST WEEK SO SHE COULD WALK NO PROBLEM - BACK LEFT LEG STARTED TO GO OUT FROM UNDER HER AT FRIST NOW WE THINK THE FRONT DOES NOT HAVE FELLING. SHE WAS RUNNING AND PLAYING FETCH AT THAT TIME

MY VET DETERMINED THAT SHE MOST LIKELY HAS LITTLE TO NO FELLING AS SHE DID NOT KNOW SHE WAS STANDING ON THE TOP OF HER FOOT(BACK) WHEN PLACED THAT WAY. THE VET SAID THAT WAS AN INDICATION OF NO FEELING.

A WEEK

AWAYS CIRCLES TO THE LEFT - THE SIDE THAT SHE SEAMS TO HAVE LOST FEELING ON.

THE VET ALSO THINKS SHE COULD HAVE A PINCHED NERVE - THE STROKE IS SPECULATION.

I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT WE GAVE HERE NOVAX AT 75 MG - FOR PAIN BUT STOPPED AFTER 2 DAYS - THAT WOULD BE 1 PILL EVERY 12 HOURS. STOPPED ON SUNDAY.

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Propulsive circling, always in the same direction, is usually a sign of a brain tumor. Dogs do not get strokes, the way that people do. I do not know why your vet would suggest this.
The loss of proprioception in the left limbs can be from a brain tumor or from a lesion in the spinal cord in the neck. However, dogs with neck spinal cord problems usually do not show circling.
I am attaching a client information handout that I use in my practice on brain tumors. I hope that you find it useful.
