my cat lost her voice why

she lost her voice 3-4 days ago she is about 12-14 yrs old. she is an in/out door cat

Already Tried:
nothing I just noticed it last night , but husband said he notice 2-3 days ago

She doesn't act like it would be a tooth because she still rubs her head of my hand all the time to be petted . But she seams less interested in going out now and that is odd because she use to eat a few bites of food and cry to be let out, she use to cry all the time like she thought we should have a rotating door and she came in and out about 15x a day if we would do it

She may have been frightened or even injured by something outside, hence her reluctance.

It is best to keep her in until you figure out what is wrong.

Try the dropper feeding if she wont eat and let me know the results.
