(Not a Cat Question?)

My sick kitty Jewel
Sent to Cat Experts January 11 11:13 AM

My cat has blood in her stool, losing weight, her eye went darker in color and will not dialiate properly, she is running fever of 103.5, but then it will go down to 102.2 and back up agian. The Vet’s can not give me any answers. They found her organs were normal in an ultra sound. They have her on clidimican and an eye antibotic w/ a steroid. They did have her on peridsone, which she reacted well to, but took her off of it. Have you ever heard of anything like this before? She is still eating and loves her treats. Her urine is normal.

I have her on Natural Choice from Nutro, which she loves. I have tried other foods, but she does not like them. Wellness caused blood in her urine, which is why I switched her in the first place. I've been dealing w/ this since the beginning of Dec. 2004. I have another cat that was recently diagnoised w/ roundworms, but Jewel shows no signs of roundworm. I have them separated at this time and they hate it. This is completely exhausting to my husband and I as if we have a sick child. I do not want to lose her. She is only 21 months old. The Vet recommends I try Science deit, but she does not like it. Also, she has no signs of diarrhea nor vomiting. The Vet did put her on an antibotic for the blood in her stool called medizatione(spelling is probably wrong)it is dark pink in color. It's only been a day in half so I haven't noticed any changes at this time. Thank you for your help. The Doc's have mentioned IBD, but they had to rule out FIP first because she has a 1/400 titer. They are pretty convinced it is not FIP. The blood work showed her muscles are inflamed, slightly elevated protein, and slighly lowered liver enzymens, but her anaimina levels are normal. Any other advice? It would be much appreicated!!!!!
