Last year my 5 month old kitty ate a 2 1/2 foot long ribbon we brought her to the vet which cost us over $2000.00 still paying it off
she gets into everything,it's like she has a death wish,a coulpe of days ago she ate some foam off of my jump rope ,she vomited 3 times some came up.now she looks awful not eating or going to the bathroom,we don't have the money for this again,I,m hoping it will pass through, she is not vomiting any more but does not look wellDon't know what to do,I love her but don't have any money,I have a puppy and two other cats she is the only one that does this ,I don't keep anything around for her to get but she seems to always find something to put in her mouth when I'm sleeping,It is very upsetting.Thank You Nikki Diamond AaroXXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX

Hi Nikki-

I know you are upset. Kittens are like babys and it seems like they are ALWAYS into something. I understand also about the cost involved with what is happening. I am attaching some links for you of organizations and agencies that can help with financial problems and veterinary care. Also, talk with your vet. If you have any free time, often times they will let clients come in and 'help' around the office, cleaning cages, etc. to help pay off their bills. Talk with your local Rescue Group or Animal Control to see if they have the name(s) of any vets that have a sliding fee scale. If she is not eating or using the litter box, it definitely sounds like she has another obstruction. Lastly, as hard as it might be, you may want to consider surrendering her for adoption in order to get her medical treatment. It would be much better to have someone else adopt her after the Humane Society gets her well than to just let her die from an obstruction in her bowel. Hopefully, though, one of the listed agencies can help you, or your vet may be willing to work with you. She definitely needs medical attention as soon as possible.
