my kitty seems sick

I've bought a kitty at pet shop a week ago.
He is american sort ,8week baby(according to shop).
But he doesn't have so much appetite, drinks a little of cat's milk & sometimes ,
may be once a day ,eats a tea spoonful of canned food.
However after a few hours he threw up & most time diarrhea.
But he was cheerful and playfull untill yestrday.
And today he seems tired and sleeps more than before.
I'm planning to take him for the shot which pet shop provides in one of these days soon.
Is he going to be ok? Or need to see a veterinarian? I'm so worried about him.
Please advise.Thank you. Seiko
