At this point, I would treat it with some hydrogen peroxide first and put some neosporin on it. If it doesn't improve over the next several days, your vet really should look at it. There is a fly whose larvae is transmitted via a mosquito bite into cats and rabbits and this may be what was there. If it's already gone, you just need to treat the area it was in. It could become infected, so if it does, your cat will probably need oral antibiotics as well as the neosporin and peroxide. I would clean and treat at LEAST twice, if not 3 times a day.
