My year old kitty is acting like she's ...

My year old kitty is acting like she's constipated. She is an indoor/outdoor cat, but she's indoors most of the time. This morning she's really mopey and has gone to her litter box a couple of times, but nothing. She's urinating...

She usually only likes dry cat food, but I gave her canned cat food this morning and she ate some, but not much. Is there something I can give her?

The best way to help cats who are constipated is by adding a tbsp of canned pumpkin to their next few meals. They will usually eat it. This will have a gentle laxative effect.

If this does NOT work, you will need to see the vet because you have something more serious going on.

Let me know if you need more help.
