my kitty is squatting and sporadically urinating all over the house he even threw up a watery substance early this morning he is still hungry and thirsty but from experience he needs antibiotics right away!! what do you have to say to me. i can't afford a vet right now and i need to prolong his life as long as possible, of course.

You seem very knowledgable about how important antibiotics are for him. Therefore, you probably also know how serious UTI's can be in a male. Untreated it can lead to FUS and be very dangerous and life threatening. He may also be pre diabetic. If you have a good relationship with your vet and he has treated your cat for this before, he may give you the medication.You can keep him hydrated with unflavored pedialyte. You can also contact www.carecredit.com for emergency financing of pet expenses. Observe you cat VERY carefully. If he strains at the box with no results, or you see blood or he stops eating or becomes very lethargic this will be a medical emergency. If any of this happens you must seek vet attention immediately or you could lose him.

ISN'T THIS EXTREMELY HIGH COSTING FOOD SUPPOSED TO STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING TO HIM? YES HE IS NEUTURED. I'M STILL NEW TO FLORIDA AND MY VETS THA KNOW US ARE IN LOUISIANA. I CAN'T AFFORD A VET VISIT WILL THEY JUST LET ME HAVE THE ANTIBIOTICS WITHOUT AN EXAM? OR CAN THEY CONSULT WITH THE OTHER VETS BACK IN LOUISIANA AND SEE IF THEY CAN JUST PRESCRIBE SOMETHING?
