I have several kittens with mattery eyes, some have snotty noses. What should we do?

What color is the discharge from the nose and eyes? How old?

they are kittens about 1 1/2 month old. It is a kind of yellow color. Like when our eyes matter during the night-but this does not seem to get crusty.

If your kittens have green discharge from the eyes and nose, the problem is now bacterial (as opposed to viral) and you need to see the vet with them. They will not get over this on their own. They need antibiotics. I would also be very concerned about feline herpes which is common in kittens.

So - step 1 - go ahead and see the vet with them all. The good thing is that most vets will see the whole litter and only charge for one office visit.
