My cat just had 6 kittens and I have noticed one of the kittens shows no interest in nursing. I have put the kitten up to the mothers tit and it shows no interest in sucking. What should I do?

I'm sorry but the kitten did pass over night. She delivered on Thursday morning and I noticed yesterday that the kitten was staying alone from the litter and was showing no interest in nursing, even when I put it by a tit. The rest of the litter seem to be doing great though.   Thank you for getting back to me, I guess the kitten is really better off now.

I am sorry to hear that but you are right and at least it was pretty quick. Momma will push them aside when they know something is wrong. Good luck with the other babies.
