I have a litter of kittens that cannot walk. Their legs are not broken. They can't seem to figure out how to use their back legs. Two of them can sort of hop using them, but if they try to walk they flop over. They can sit up. They can climb. They can wrestle with each other. But if you pick them up their back legs go stiff. The kitten are now six months old and the size of 2 to 3 month olds. Only one of them is litter-trained. They are otherwise in excellent health. Very healthy and affectionate lap kitties who purr all the time. When, if ever, will they walk? What is this condiiton called, since their is no break. Most vets suggested putting them down a long time ago -- others said they might catch up. My cat book states something about the cerrebellum but that eventually they will get it together.
