I have a litter of kittens and they are 2 weeks ...

I have a litter of kittens and they are 2 weeks old....One of the kittens eyes closed after being opened.....It's just one eye....What should I do?

No...It looks like the kittens eye is sealed up...Just like they are when they are born..It's nose looks a little runny....

Dear friend,

This is not serious and could be the result of a little bacteria. Put a little vaseline on the outer portion of the eye but do not try to force it open.If the mommy licks it - that is Ok.

In addition,go to a health food store and get the human amino acid Llsine or order Enysil F (lysine paste) from www.bullwrinkle.com You can sprinkle 150 mg of lisine in moms water and use the paste when the babies get older. That will protect them from the Herpes virus.
