Baby kittens
Sent to Cat Experts April 20 12:35 PM

My fiancee came home one night and told me that he found 3 baby kittens where he worked and the momma cat left them, he told me that if they were still there that he would bring them home. Well, the next night he came home and told me to follow him and he took me into our laundry room. There were 2 babies laying on the floor. Automatically I started being mommy. I brought them in because it was to cold for them out there. The next day I went to a pet store and took the babies with me and I showed her what I had, she automatically knew what I needed. She gave me 2 baby bottles and a can of powdered formula. She said that they take this. So that night I gave them there bottles. They wouldn't take the formula and I called the place where I got the formula and told her what was going on. She said that they might be allergic to it. She told me to start giving them cow's milk. Well I did and it seemed that they were taking it but not alot at a time. So I decided to half and half it. They chugged it down. They are now 3 weeks old.
Yesterday, I fed them and put them down for a nap. They slept for about 5 hrs. which is really rare I made them bottles and carried them in my room. They didn't wake up until I was in bed. I told him to bring me one and he gave Bear and he got Blue Eyes. He looked at me and said there is something wrong with her. And I asked him what? He put her on the bed and her head was going to the left. She was going around in circles. And then I tried to move her head to the left and she would look at me like mom what are you doing? Then Jake (my fiancee) picked her up put her upside down and she moved her head the direction we wanted her to. Jake said it might be creke in her neck (slept wrong) so I woke up this morning and it's still the same way.

Here's my question: What is wrong with my kitty? When I moved her head she didn't growl, hiss, or meow. She let us do what ever to her. We got these babies at a week old. We have a daughter that is 5 going to be 6 in 3 months, we have a 6 month old male cat. Should I worry about any of this? The other baby kitty is not doing any of this! The third baby kitty didn't make it by the time Jake got them.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I'M GOING OUT OF MY MIND!

Hi,

I think it's a great time for a vet check up on the kittens. The fact that they are so young and you don't know what happened to the mama (could have died from labor or a infection that could have been passed down to the kittens)

It could very well be a strain from playing with the other kitten, or something more serious. Make sure she is eating and drinking properly as kittens this young get dehydrated fairly quickly. Also watch her stools for any abnormality's such as blood or tarry stool.

At this point the kittens being that they were abandoned need to have a check up and the one a full examination of the neck and shoulder muscles.

Sorry, I was looking for something I
could do or something I could give her to help
her.
I guess I'm doing it on my own.
            Thanks for nothing!
