i recently got two kittens from my aunt. she says they are about four weeks old. the litter was 8 and apparently the mom just stopped feeding them. a few of them were shrinking in size and i decided to take two of the more healthy ones and care for them since 8 is a lot for one person to handle! one of them apparently got his leg shut in the door and he is dragging it behind him and limping on it occasionally, as far as i can tell he is in no pain though. do you think its broken or just sprained? the other is significantly smaller and a boy as well. they both cry almost nonstop and i am not sure why! we got a nursing bottle and some formula. we have been feeding them, the larger one sucks vigorously and we are about to start weaning it. i am not sure that the smaller one is ready.. it eats an extremely small amount and then wont eat anymore. they both want to cry and nuzzle up against my neck but they claw me and it hurts..i made a nest for them in a box and covered it with a towel and put a warm lamp by it. i also tryed bathing them in warm water with antibacterial soap and blowdried on low.. this caused the larger one to pee! the smaller on pooped once already but not in the litter box and the larger one has yet to poop. they cry and try to get out of their box, it seems nothing i do will satisfy them. any help at all would be great! thanks
