I just brought home two kittens about five days ago and I believe they are about 5 weeks old. Yesterday the boy kitten looked like he was having trouble pooping, it looked like he was constipated. when the stool finally did come out it kind of shot out and went from looking really tough to really slimy, and at the end a few large drops of blood came out with the stool. I'm wondering first why my kitten would have blood in his stool, and second if it could be caused by constipation?
