how do you take care of newborn kittens who are mother - less?

i was viviting my mother who recently changed homes, and i brought my 2 chow chows with me. we they were released into her back yard, they found a cat and pretty much mauled it. after some time they were let out again and i saw the one dog acting pretty strange. Well, she had gotten a hold of a kitten and killed it. i found 3 more, one dead, two alive. i would like to know how to nurse them and such to better their survival rate
