What can I give my kitten thats I can get from the safway

I would very much like to know if there is a safe cough syrup for babys that I can use when my kittens get a cold and don't feel good. we have things for us and our human baby's why can't I find something for am kittens. please help.
Can I give them childrens Motrin or childrens Robitussin for cough and flu and how much.
