(Not a Cat Question?)

diarrea
Sent to Cat Experts October 07 03:57 AM

hi
I had a kitten show up on my veranda last Sunday,10/01. It is about 7-8 weeks old.
I live is Belize. Our Vet will visit the third weekend of Oct.
The kitten as had diarrea since I found her. She isn't leaking out of butt now. She is using litter box. Color of bowel movement is orangish and very runny.
I can only acquire adult catfood, whiskas. Sometimes can get kitten but not this week. Will get as soon as it comes to village. Is this food too strong? I am afraid to give milk for fear it will make diarrea worse. I only have powdered milk.
Any help, advice would be appreciated.
We have a wonderful group of people running a Humane Society. Other than getting cat to vet, which would require air flight, I have to wait til third wekend for vet to come. I cannot afford airfare for cat to travel.
Any home remedies for diarrea?
Thank you,
Red Rhastas Mom
