We had our kitten spayed 5 days ago, and she pulled one of her two stitches out today. It looks okay, it's not bleeding and it doesn't look like it is coming open, but we're not sure what to do and my daughter is very upset. We bought a cone from the vet, but it is the smallest one they have and it is too big for her. We tried making a cone out of a milk bottle, but she went nuts when we put it on.

It will most likely be just fine since it is not gaping open at all. She is probably going to pick the other one out so I would put something like Ben Gay around it so she will leave it alone.

When you put the cone on do you have it through her collar? If she does not wear a collar you can use string guaze (it is long gauze that is about 1" wide )and loop it through the loops to hold it on tighter.
