Cat appetite and health concern
Sent to Cat Experts July 26 10:11 PM

My normally unpicky 4 year old cat has stopped eating his dry food, which he used to eat like a pig. He will now only eat canned food. He also has had diarrhea a few times this week and has vomited hair once and food and bile 2 other times. His appetite is not the same and he has not been urinating as frequently. I recently adopted an eight week old kitten and am wondering if this can all be related to that. I have taken him to the vet, he was tested for FIP, FIV and leukemia, came back negative and got his vaccinations. Also received his rabies shot and boosters within the past few weeks. He has been a normal healthy boy, until I took home the kitten and he went to the vet for all his shots. The vet just told me to keep an eye on him. I really do not want to have to take him back to the vet, he gets really stressed out when he goes. Wondering if the trips to the vet, the numerous shots, and the new visitor invading his territory are making him sick, or if there something else. Thank you. Kitties Mom.
