My 6 week old kitten that i just recently found outside has a severe upper respiratory infection. I took her to the vet, she's on antibiotics and has eye cream. When her eyes drain, and she falls asleep her eyes often dry shut. When she wakes up, she can't open her eyes so I usually wipe her eyes and open them for her, this morning I did so and blood squirted out of her eye and it has continued to stay bloody for a few hours now. Is this normal for an upper respiratory infection?
What antibiotic is she on? How many doses has she had?
What eye ointment are you using?
