Found a stray kitten about six weeks old, malnourished, with yellowish liquid which has caused her eyes to stick together, this same liquid comes out when she sneezes. My question.... Is this some kind of infectious disease? Is there some thing that can be done without taking her to a vet? Please note I have other pets in the household..(3 dogs indoors) (3 cats outside)...

Are you keeping this kitten away from the other cats? or are they able to come in contact with each other?

At this time she is being kept in a box... I have cleaned her up with a pet shampoo, cleaned around her eyes with proxide, (which it keeps caking up)she is free of fleas and ticks, and she is starting to eat a little cat food. Tried giving her baby forumula which she doesn't care for much...she has had a BM and urinated.. Is there anything for the humans in the household to worry about as well...
