My little stray has become pregnant, she is now giving birth , the first one was hanging out of the birth canal, I knew she was having aproblem so I removed it and out come this dead kitten with a bloody placenta after , now here tummy is now contracting again. and I am very concerned about her and the remaining kittens, please don,t lecture me about neutruring because I know and how important it is as I watched this cat go through her own little ordeal, and as soon as this is possible I will get her to my vet. please help if you can I will be sitting with this cat through the night, I just don,t know what to do and I would like her to have one live kitten for her suffering

I think you are doing all you can now.I don't know why the first kitten died. I would try to keep her comfortable, offer her water.And just do what you are doing.If she needs any assistance in delivering, let her do what she can and if it seems to be taking too long then when it's pushed out , very gently pull to see if it will come out, but let her try first for awhile. I will be praying for your little one.Good Luck

Reply to GAIL's Post: This is her first litter and it seems like she is so tired I don,t know if I am bothering her by checking on her do I let nature do its course I see her body making all kind of motions.. do I leave her alone please help me Theresa
