A kitten recently adopted my dog and myself, and wondered up on my porch about 2 weeks ago, and has been ever since, she is still and is eating very well, I might add. She is a chowhound, and has quite a voracious appetite. I have no way of knowing just how old she really is. My guesstimate is about 4 1/2 to 5 mos. I had planned on having her spayed at the end of May(while I was on vacation), so as to be here to help her if there is a problem that arises. What are the symptoms that appears as the kitten go into heat? Is it the same as a dog? It has been a very long time since I have had a kitten/cat, and have forgotten a lot of it. She is an outdoor pet, she seems to like it outside when the weather is good, but, she also has a cat carrier to sleep in @ nighttime, or when it gets bad outside. Is there any way you all can send me a cat care booklet?
