sick kitten or allergies?

my 4 month old kitten isn't acting normal. she's sleeping a lot, her eyes
are runny, she's coughing and sort of wheezing with her breath. is this
allergies or something more serious? i got her pet insurance, but it
doesn't kick in until next tuesday, i was going to wait to take her in for a
check up, but then this came on. should i wait?

If she is wheezing then she should be seen. It sounds like she may have an upper respiratory infection. If her eyes are running clear fluid it may be allergies. If it is yellow or green it is an infection. The safest thing would be to take her in and have her checked while you can nip it in the bud before she gets too sick.
