My cat has had blood and mucus in his stool for a while. He is on hairball dry food mixed with sensitive stomach dry food. He eats lamb baby food mixed with metamucil (vet's advice) once a day. The vet did an X-ray that showed something in his intestines that the vet theought he could pass with the help of the metamucil. He got better for 3 days and then went back to the soft runny stools mixed with mucus and bright red blood. He is a seventeen year old Abyssinnian that has been in good health most of his life. His biggest issue has always been fur balls and he has had bloody stools before - not for such a long period, however. Our vet can't seem to figure it out. I am wondering if he has ulcers. He is strictly an indoor cat. I really need help! Any suggestions?

I really do think you'll be surprised. Not only at the improvement in the hairball situation, but the defecation overall. Remember to take your magnifying glass though - reading those ingredient lists isn't made easy.

Let me know how it goes.
