Question

Cat Lethargy

Sent to Cat Experts April 17, 2005 10:35 p.m.

My cat has suddenly become lethargic, somewhat paranoid. His paws are dry and doesn't appear to be eating or drinking well. We gave him Advantage Flea Control on the back of his neck a week ago. He is about 18 months old and is about 14-16 lbs of muscle. No vomiting, no diarrhea.

There are some cats that react negatively to Advantage drops.
Here is a discussion board where this is discussed by owners http://pub123.ezboard.com/fsunshine35446frm9.showMessage?topicID=905.topic

One of the things they note on the board is that there are drops out there that are *fake* ones that show the animal's weight measured in KG not pounds.

For information from the company you can try calling Bayer Veterinary Services at 800-422-9874 for information on adverse reactions to their Advantage drops product.
Hope this helps your cat!
