If your cat has bad teeth, or bad breath, he might slobber alot. Can you look at his teeth?

Otherwise, if his teeth and breath are not bad, he may just do what some cats do, when they get all affectionate. That is that they drool, and even have clear liquid come out of their nose sometimes. I have a cat that is like this. He has been doing this now, for ten years! So, I think it is not always something to get upset about, unless you have a cat with very bad breath, that may have a tooth problem, or also, he could have stomach problems, that give him indigestion, and might cause him to drool.

My cat drools, when he gets all loving and purring. That may be what is happening with your cat.

God bless and good luck!

Thank you so much for your response. My cat doesn't have bad teeth and he does just slobber when I am giving him so love so maybe he just likes it huh? Also this isn't just something he started out of the blue, he has been doing it since he was a kitten. Thanks again.

Yes, if he has been doing this since he was a kitten, I would really not worry much about it. He just has overactive salivary glands, I guess, like my boy does. He just dribbles all over at times, while purring and he grabs his paws around my neck, and is like a big old teddy bear!

Take care!
