17 year old cat has thyroid on methamazole increased ...

17 year old cat has thyroid on methamazole 1 1/2 tabs daily, will retest on Mon.increased doseage 1 mo ago because of elevation, all white cat blue eyes dsh fur has started turning beige some additional fur loss.   May be a british short hair, stray. Have used pyoben shampoo for 3 1/2 weeks to no avail. T4 levels up tried Dawn shampoo on small area, nothing changed. Beige is spreading. Have 7 other cats, 2 of which are her daughters, 1 white, gold eyes still very bright white fur, the other a tabby.
