My male cat is 15 years old. Has been treated for thyroid for past year. Now developed
vomiting and diarreah, for about a month. Vet wants to do exploratory surgery. Cat is an indoor cat, however, was on leash and caught an earthworm and ate it about the same time the vomit/dirreah started. Could the worm bring on the vomiting and diarreah
for the past month?

Hi- may be an obvious questions but has your vet asked you to stop the Tapazole (generic= methimazole) while this vomiting and diarrhea has been happening?

Also, what has you vet prescribed for medication and/or done for diagnostics?
