he is about 5 years old and yes there is a female that has been spayed

Last question (hopefully) - does he go outside at all or does he have access to an area where he might see or smell other cats that are outdoors? Is this new behavior for him?

well there are 4 cats downstairs at my landlords apartment but they have always gotten along. he sometimes sneeks out of the house though
