Dear friend,

Some cats just do not have the innate habit to cover their waste so it may be impssible to teach her that. However, you can get rid of the smell which is usually caused by bad bacteria. Give your baby one teaspoon of plain yogurt every day . That contains acidopholus and will keep "good",bacteria in the cats colon. Make sure the clumping litter is quite deep so the burying instinct is aroused. You can also "show" her how by making a motion with her paws after she has pottyed. Some cats will repeat this action once they are shown.

Please let me know if you still have questions. I will be happy to help.

Thank you for adopting a shelter cat and saving a life. May God bless you.

Sincerest best wishes,

Terri
