My cat has sores around his mouth as well as one sore on his front paw. He had a fever Sunday so I took him into the vet and they started him on a regimen of antibiotics. He will not eat solid food and has not had a bowel movement for 4 days. He will eat soft food. He's not as lethargic as he was Sunday but acts like he's not feeling himself. Any ideas?

It may be that he bit a electrical cord and that is the source of the sores. If he is experiencing pain in his mouth then he wouldn't want to eat very much. You may want to ask your vet about some pain medication for a couple of days and see if that helps him feel better. He may just need a little time to heal more before he starts acting like himself again.
