Color changing Simese?

I have a 7yr old seal point siamese cat. I've noticed as I brush his hair. His hair has changed from a dark grayish color to a more off-white color. He still has his dark silvery color on his legs, face and tail. The off-white color is in the middle of his back to his the small of his tail. What does this mean?
