I have 2 cats. they are 2 and 4. They have lived together for 2 yrs. last night...out of nowhere.....the older male began attacking the younger male. today, he is still acting strange. I've heard I should keep them separated and I've heard i should let them fight it out. what should I do?

Reply to Terri Riba's Post: The cats are only allowed on my balcony. the younger one has fallen off several times, but has cried for me and I've brought him back in immediately.

They are both neutered and have all of their rabies, distemper, and feline leukemia shots are up to date.

No. Neither have been sick to my knowledge. they haven't been separated either.

Also, the older male has always had a bit of an attitude with certain people, but NEVER to me and on Friday night he was being aggressive with me as well.

did i mention that when they were on the balcony on friday night when all this began there was a little black cat right below my balcony?
