I have a young cat under a year who has gone in cycles of extremely runny stools. She has been on all sorts of meds and homopathic attempts. The last time we were at the vets I was told she may has irratable bowel sym. Is this possible because it is getting to be very hard cleaning up after her?

How old is your kitten and for how long has she had the runny stools?

If the vet diagnosed possible irritable bowel syndrom, what medications were prescribed?

What homeopathic remedies have you tried? Is she on any medication/homeopathic remedy, at the present time?

What brand and type (canned/dry) of food does she currently eat?

Has the vet tested her stool for parasites?

There was a dietary supplement that contained lactobacillus acidophilus which was mixed with pumpkin and chicken baby food. She is just under a year old and I too have had cats all my life and this is the first time I have ever seen a cat like this. She eats Purnia indoor cat food. I know if someone slips and gives her a lap or two of milk she gets real bad. She also recieves vitamins.
