Male Cat Weak and Lethargic

My male cat, Sam, is about 15 years old. Until yesterday he has been active, strong and healthy. Yesterday he began to seem lethargic, weak and having difficulty with his balance and in jumping up even onto a bed or sofa.

This morning he seems interested in eating; however, has only eaten a couple bites. He did not eat during the night or get up to drink and stayed in one place all night. He is not drinking water normally. He has had both a bowel movement and urinated; however, the feces is low volume and rather dry and the volume of urine less than normal.

He keeps wandering around as though looking for something or perhaps a place to be comfortable. He normally is rather vocal; however, has been completely quiet last evening and this morning.

He has not lost any weight; however, this has only been for about 36 hours. I have not taken his temp; however it does not seem elevated..

Any suggestions about his condition will be appreciated.

Please check his mouth for any dental issues like an abscessed or infected tooth.

What is his normal food?

He does not seem to have any tooth or mouth problems or mouth soreness.

He eats Scienct Diet Advanced Formula Senior dry food
