my cat is being sick and it lookslike she is bringing up faeces

my ten month old kitten is sicking up what looks like faeces ie it is in sausages, she didnt eat her tea tonight. I found some this mornign and assumed it was poo as she had been accidently locked in the front room, but she has now just been sick in front of me.
